"We use DigesTip for sample digestions in resolving little complex samples within little amount of total protein. In these experiments the digestions come out correctly, obtaining good MALDI spectra and MS/MS spectra and good identifications of proteins present in the sample, using as a search engine MASCOT and Sequest,respectively. DigesTip is a quick and easy solution to process samples with good results in the identification of peptides. The results are comparable to those obtained with standard methods and are quite reproducible."
